The Philadelphia Dragon Boat Association is the oldest, strongest, and most decorated dragon boat team in the United States. 

Our members form core of the United States Dragon Boat Federation's Team USA, and have repeatedly won the right to represent the United States in regattas all over the world. 

After starting as a men's team in 1983, the modern team is made up of men, women, and youth paddlers ranging from 13 to 65 years of age. Most of us are working professionals with jobs and families, living right here in the greater Philadelphia area.

Under the direction of Team USA and Philadelphia Dragon Boat Association Head Coach Bob McNamara, we have brought home the IDBF Nations Cup Trophy as Overall World Champions two times: Sydney 2007, and Tampa 2011.
